Despite the pool being closed and the absence of a spa during my stay, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering in Singapore delivered an unforgettable experience thanks to its exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and attentiveness that truly made the difference. The human touch here is unparalleled — every team member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure comfort, care, and a sense of being genuinely valued. The hotel’s unique architecture and lush greenery remain breathtaking, but it’s the people behind the scenes who made my stay truly special. Sometimes, it’s not the facilities, but the hearts that run a place that define its excellence — and this hotel is a perfect example of that. I look forward to returning once the amenities are fully open, but even without them, it was a five-star experience in every meaningful way.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. I had been here 7 years ago and couldn’t wait to go back. Staff is extremely nice, it is well located, rooms are beautiful and spacious. This hotel is for sure a 10/10 and the only reason I am giving a 9 is because when we arrived we were informed that the pool was temporarily closed for reparations… I think this is the kind of information guests should be informed on prior to their arrival to be able to make an informed choice on their hotel selection. However, the staff was really nice and compensated us with other things that we truly appreciated and still made our experience feel very special.

The hotel was amazing. Just walking in you knew you were in a special place. Even the taxi driver said this was a much better choice than other well-known, pricier hotels. And it was in a perfect location to catch the metro and visit Chinatown. 10 out of 10!

Impressive building with lots of greenery and water features. Spacious comfortable room with a great view, even from the bath! Restaurant was not very enticing and the ‘bar’ was completely lacking in atmosphere. We weren’t informed before we arrived that the pool was out of use, which was one of the reasons we booked here. Great location though, close to Chinatown, Clarke Quay and MRT station.

Stayed for three day before a two week cruise. Super staff friendly and professional in every way at all the locations from doormen, cleaners, check in, bar and restaurant. Room and as one of the best for comfort, layout and climate control. Sadly the pool was closed as was garden walk. Other than that is was exceptional.

Everything was great - breakfast could be a bit hit and miss but only with coffee! sometimes they would offer coffee when seating you, sometimes they wouldn’t, sometimes they would but wouldn’t actually bring the coffee. Not really worthy of mentioning but it’s all I could think of..

Excellent location, you can walk to many sights and there is two train stations on different lines a few minutes walk. The architecture of the building is beautiful, I haven't stayed in hotel quite like it. The grand ceilings in the rooms make them feel more spacious and the amount of natural light is nice. The pool is beautiful and the view from the pool is stunning. The staff were very attentive and helpful. There is a steam room in the bathrooms of the pool area and showers. We had a very late departure flight and were able to use the facilities after check-out until we had to leave which was very handy and gave us a space to relax before the flight home.

We stayed just a couple of nights here but sure enjoyed our time. The breakfast was wonderful, the pool amazing and the building surround an outing in itself-great architecture with gardens well maintained. To top it off, we slept wonderfully! Location is great!

Lovely and quiet. Nicely located for a leisurely stroll around the centre. Everyone’s extremely polite. Will definitely stay there again the future. The food looked good will try it next time.
